- This is the provincial regulatory body for midwifery.

- This is a public organization in support of midwifery care and home births.
- British Columbia Reproductive Care Program (BCRCP)
- This organization attempts to streamline maternity care with the various health care professions including nurses, family doctors, midwives, and obstetricians.
- LaLeche League
- This organization provides support for breastfeeding mothers with very active local chapters.
- Seattle Midwifery School
- Has a good three-year Midwifery Program. Aspiring midwives can find other programs listed at the CMBC and MABC sites.
- DONA International
- DONA is the largest Doula organization in the world and can can help you to locate a doula in your area.
- Doula Service Association of British Columbia
- This is a non-profit organization supporting doulas in BC. It also helps you to find a doula in your area.

- This is a website for parents developed by the Canadian Pediatric Society.
- Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in Canada
- This is the website for Canadian obstetricians and gynaecologists. There is information on their clinical guidelines, women’s health information, and the alarm course.
